Title: The Islands of the Blessed | Author: Nancy Farmer | Publisher: S&S/Saga Press (2015)
i am genuinely tweaking over the house of the scorpion. im about to hit 3 years of this being my special interest. that's a year longer than my literal HYPERFIXATION on jekyll and hyde.
i genuinely love this book so much that it makes me clutch my hair. i encountered a house of the scorpion fan on another social media platform and woke my cat up from a nap because i immediately and literally started giggling and kicking my feet super aggressively.
i get such a dopamine rush from any mention of it that i have to jump around, spin, kick, shake, do anything that makes me tired so that i stop being so overwhelmed. at this point who needs drugs when i have the house of the scorpion?
