ShadowHunters AU

another random idea/plot bunny:

A couple of years before the show starts Jace gets hurt pretty badly while he’s out on his own doing a patrol. He gets taken to the hospital that Catarina works at. He’s lost a lot of blood and they end in calling in for help from Alicante (thankfully the Shadowhunters in this AU track bloodtypes, etc) due to the fact that Jace has a really rare type of blood, so rare in fact that only one other living person shares it, Imogen Herondale. They decide at that time to do some more tests and find out that Jace isn’t a Wayland (like he was raised believing) but is in fact a Herondale. During Jace’s time in the hospital Magnus and Alec meet (Magnus came to portal in Imogen, and Alec comes because, duh, it’s Jace in there. To no one’s surprise Alec and Magnus fall head over heels for each other at first sight)

Magnus and Alec start dating in secret, Alec still isn’t ready to come out yet and Magnus respects that. Jace ends up getting a place outside of the Institute, because he’s gotten very uncomfortable with all the attention he has been receiving being the Inquisitor’s grandson.

About a year before the show starts Jace is out on his own for the night (just out for drinks) and as he’s sitting there just.. not moping, really what would he have to be mopey about, Izzy’s off on a date and Alec is off doing who knows what again *cough*Magnus - Jace figured it out a long time ago*cough* Maryse, Robert, and Max are off at another Institute for a meeting, and he’s just bored. In walks Simon. Jace hadn’t believed in love at first sight before, hell he hadn’t really believed in love until he saw Alec fall in love with Magnus, but he fell hard and fast.

Jace buys Simon a drink and then uses all his charm to get Simon to come back to his place. They have some drinks, play some video games, mess around a little, and end up falling asleep wrapped around each other. This continues in secret, the more time it goes on the more Jace finds himself in love with Simon. Jace ends up confessing his relationship to Maryse, and when she asks him if it is worth it, if Simon is worth the risk of being demarked and exiled, and Jace tells her that Simon is. 

Simon, for his part, is still in the closet himself. He knows he’s in love with Jace, he knows he wants to spend the rest of his life with him, and yet he’s scared. He hadn’t told anyone, not Clary, not Becky, not his mom, not even Luke who is like a second father to him. He know how he feels, but both Jace and he have been idiot boys and not talked about feelings. He isn’t sure if Jace feels the same way about him (though any moron would be able to see it).

And then it happens. Jace bumps into Clary outside of Club Pandemonium. He feels an instant connection to her (which is due to the shared angel blood they both have running through their veins), which is a type of love, but unlike what he felt when he met Simon, it is the exact same type of love he feels for Alec, Izzy, Maryse, and the rest of the Lightwoods. Things go down almost the same way as they did in the beginning of the show (though Jace missed seeing Simon when he met Clary)

So when Simon tracks down Clary and she comes outside with Jace things end up coming out. Jace doesn’t say anything until they are inside the Institute and Simon can see things how they are. When Alec makes a comment about a mundane in the Institute Jace ends up blurting out that Simon isn’t just any mundane, he is Jace’s mundane, and that he loves him, thank you very much. 

Izzy, who of course knew that both Jace and Alec had secret relationships, offhandedly mentions that now Jace, Simon, Alec, and Magnus can go on double dates together, before she grabs Clary by the hand and drags her off muttering about stupid boys.

Mama Bear I lost my voice tonight 😸 due to singing at the top of my lungs 🫁 at the concert I went to. I had a blast, though my back is kinda sore due to dancing my butt off.

All in all it was amazing.

I used to ship Destiel when I first joined the SPN fandom. I also shipped Wincest, Sastiel, Megstiel, Wincestiel, basically all the big ships. And then Misha happened. Misha turned me against Castiel by his actions both on and off camera. When I stopped shipping Destiel I noticed how toxic that part of the fandom was. Even when I shipped Destiel I never once had any Wincest or Sastiel or Megstiel shipper send me hate for my ships, it was only Destiel shippers. 1 of ?

2 of ? They were vile in the things they would send me. Called me a fake member of the LGBT+ community because I respect canon sexualities. Called me a fake "survivor" when they found out about my history of being abused (sexually, physically, mentally). Called me a pedophile for enjoying Wincest (which is mind boggling as Sam and Dean are both adults... so how???) They were racist, ageist, sexist to me. They were bullies and abusive. 2 of ?

3 of ? They hijacked my posts, general posts about the show and shoved their bullshit in it. They spammed my inbox with death threats and telling me to kill myself. They killed the joy and creativeness I had for writing by their words and behavior towards me because it didn't fit in their narrative. They and Misha destroyed the flickering like for the character of Castiel I had and made me feel disgust whenever he was on screen. 3 of 4.

4 of 4 Honestly, I've come to believe that there are very few actual "good" Destiel shippers anymore. They are a toxic, misogynistic, bi/homophobic, ageist, racist, bigoted bunch of virtue signaling assholes. They are abusive and manipulative. They fetishize rape and abuse and victimhood. They mock and demean and belittle people with actual mental disorders and/or real members of the LGBT+ and pretend to be "part of the community". *rant over. - Branwen

So there I am watching Sliders after a hard day at work and who do I spy on my screen... Dick Roman (okay, okay I kid his actor though) and even though he was 17 years younger I knew his face as soon as it popped up on my screen, lol

I want to compile season by season every single horrible thing he did to try and get Dean to himself by "accidentally" putting Sam in mortal danger.
