I literally burst out crying when Guy appeared on those stairs. My parents went through an ugly custody battle for me when I was 14 and my dear friend who ended up being my first girlfriend gave me a beautiful notebook the day of my testimony in the trial. That friend lifted my spirits on a terrible day and I’m so grateful. Nan and Guy are complicated people, but the love they have and the playfulness they have around each other throughout horrible times is the kind of relationship I hope everyone has.
(Yup Paloma is a pretty big wrinkle but I have faith)
I’m so glad I didn’t watch the buccaneers until last week because if I had to be in this much emotional pain over guy and nan (+jinny) for over a year I wouldn’t have survived
