that’s no secret. sasuke can see it in his eyes. they share the same look. miserable, pitiful tools. orochimaru kept them locked up tight and used them only when needed, hardly an existence any sane person would be proud of. of course they had their reasons, but the uchiha didn’t think they were the kind of people to sit there and take it.

sasuke was still short for his age, but the years had put a foot or so on him. enough so he only has to crane a bit on his tiptoes to stand over the the other nin. he can feel the heat burning in his body, the sluggish coursing of that despicable curse mark, making him restless.... unsatisfied..... feverish......
