i’m writing frantically

trying to fill these pages

quicker quicker quicker

because our chapter ended and i can’t bring it back

so

the next best thing i can do is put as many pages as i can between myself and us

fill chapters with as much excitement and adventure as i can

and hope that by the time i get to the end

our chapter won’t be my favorite anymore

The mosquitos really ate me up at the #nanmow2020 but it was still an honor to be apart of history. On a side note, this trip was different because I had no plans other than going to the March so many people would find this to be a challenge as many default to what is the norm. Many places were closed due to ‘Rona but DC always has something going on. So if you ever visit, I encourage you to think outside the box of the normal museums and tourist attractions because you might miss an experience of a lifetime. The March on Washington today was peaceful.  Even though it was hot and crowded, it felt calm and loving.  People wore masks and respected staying socially distance.  The only request I heard made was — VOTE!  Let’s make the system work for us.  VOTE, VOTE, VOTE and bring peace and justice to our country.

What an honor to have the opportunity to be apart of something so monumental! Hearing all the speakers and @real_sharpton give their messages and their demands for change was such an inspiring feeling.
