1963 issue from Italia, postcard sized football cards! Nannina tried two releases in 1963, both in this format, one was a smaller, glossy sticker (plain back) 63-64 (of which only 9 different have been catalogued, to date) and the large, postcard size cards, which include Pelé amongst their number. The latter, shown here, came with 1 disc of a club emblem in the packet,

1962 Edizioni Nannina "Mondiali del Cile" Pele

The "Mondiali del Cile" series was published in Italy by Nannina in 1962 and consisted of 68 unnumbered small cards, measuring 4 x 5 cm with blank backs.

Nannina was the most famous and important Italian publish house of trading cards during the early and mid sixties in Italy. It was based in Milano and it´s empire began to decline, when a bigger name from Modena started to rise - exactly, Panini.

This series featured two different variations of the card of Pele: a front and a side portrait as shown here.
