We can't win them all, can we?

None of my work (made especially for the show) got into the Heritage themed exhibition at Nantwich Museum, but I did enjoy finally going to see and support my peers' work last week!

Congratulations to the artists who got in and the curator, David Kereszteny Lewis on a great show!

Have you been to the Market Square in Nantwich?

Steve and I went in December after which I created this pen piece.

I wanted to create art featuring this view of the town because I felt it reflected both the history of the place and the continuity of its people. The buildings in the background may be Cheshire Tudor black and white architecture, but there's the odd van and new signage and, in view of the memorial to the long fallen, small children still play and the people of the town go shopping as they have for centuries.
