BIOGRAPHY:
Naomi and her twin sister Candice were the best of friends growing up. They had their own language and had a connection far beyond anything they could ever explain to anyone. They were thick as thieves and so alike.
When the girls moved into high school, Naomi found herself more popular than she could ever have dreamed. She found herself leaving her sister behind and leaving her alone. Candice was unhappy but it was like Naomi didn't even notice.
Then the twins got into a car accident on the way to school one morning. It was a rare occurrence that they would take the same ride to school but that fateful day, Candice had been running late and their father made Naomi take her sister.
Candice died in the accident that day.
What people don't know however is that Naomi is actually Candice, pretending to be Naomi. She survived the accident but the hospital staff didn't know which was which - she told them she was Naomi and that was that.
Her parents didn't even notice, too distraught over losing one of their daughters forever.
Naomi did her best to put Candice behind her. After the girls had grown apart, she was jealous of her sister and the popularity she had found and she was angry her sister would ditch her that way.
It was an impulsive decision to take her place after the accident, when she found out she had died, but she slipped into her sisters life with ease, though with every year that passes it tends to get harder and harder.
