i don't understand how fans can hate on tony, and then proceed to turn around and proclaim their love for loki.

especially when loki has knowingly committed crimes he was aware would harm people in the process? like you can argue that he was under the control of the tesseract that doesn’t make him innocent or any better than tony.

imo it’s all down to the question of why they did it, though; their moralities are completely separate. loki? was in it for power. he wasn’t named king of asgard, got angry, so tried to come and conquer earth. tony? wanted to make a difference and make the world a little bit better, if he could.

i guess people are more willing to accept loki because he’s supposed to be a villain, but if you’re a hero and do things that get people hurt too, it’s easier to judge for that.
