Director Koratala Siva, who’s waited long to direct Chiranjeevi in a film, will realise his wishes now that Chiru has given him the green signal. A source tells us that the shoot is expected to start soon, too. It has been confirmed that Nayanthara has been roped in as the female lead opposite the mega star. Interestingly, the actress will already be seen with Chiranjeevi in the ongoing film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, whose shooting has been completed and is now in the post-production phase. According to the source, the filmmakers are keen on casting her again as the pair looked good together in Sye Raa. “Actually, the choice was between Nayanthara and Anushka Shetty, but Anushka was busy with other projects, so they opted for Nayanthara,” adds the source. Incidentally, we’ve also learnt from our sources that the actress has charged a bomb for this film — a lot higher than actresses in South India usually do. “She is one of the highest paid actresses in South, and for this film, she’s going to charge double the remuneration of what the top actresses in Telugu charge,” added the source.
