On This Day, 8 Years Ago
So I was looking at mangapanda.com, and when I browsed through the table of contents of Naruto, I noticed that a certain chapter was apparently released 8 years ago on this day, or at least it was posted on mandapanda.com on this day. I’ll give you a very unsubtle, very unambiguous, very blatant hint as to which chapter I’m talking about:
I love that the word “hate” is in bold in this Viz translation. It’s very important to remember that this guy NEVER goes back on his word. So when he has a very serious facial expression, looks at someone straight in the eyes, and tells them that he HATES them, he fucking means it. Why? Because, like I said, he NEVER goes back on his word. That’s his nindo, his shinobi way, his ninja way. And he ALWAYS takes his nindo VERY seriously.
Gotta love that very last panel of Chapter 469, a.k.a. “The Definitive Death of NaruSaku”, and gotta love canon.
