I like to think that when PanDam become a thing and they get married and have kids their kids will be helping Dam with his training. Like they’re the weight on his back for planks, he lights them and that’s one of the ways they bond. I’d like to believe that he won’t make them do combat training for a little while cause he wants them go have what he didn’t have early in his childhood.
- Damian’s usual work-out turned into run-around-the-house instances usually involve him with his wife sitting on his shoulders, around his neck waving her hands and laughing while he holds one kid in each arm up and does laps like it’s nobody’s business
- sometimes the occasional staff member at the manor sees this and (1) panics and almost faints or (2) just goes about their day like usual
- Damian usually airily tells them they really way nothing more than flies and they always get all huffy-puffy about this. If Pandora’s walking by then she comes over and sits on top of him too or lays over him like a sloth until Damian relents and he turns around to hold her because he can’t really resist.
- Pandora found him debating over their first kid’s crib one day, looking serious and broody as usual so she asked him what was going on and he said he wasn’t sure what age was appropriate in normal standards to teach their child how to disarm their opponents or defend themselves or hold a sword
- Pandora kind of mulls this over and just asks “When do you want them to do any of that?”
- Damian thinks about it before he realizes, “Never. I never want them to have to do that.”
- Pan kind of just goes with it with a smile and kisses him, resting her head on his shoulder and saying “Okay then” they both end up figuring out training is a great way to tire the kids out when they get to a reasonable enough age so Damian sort of low-key tests and plays around with what they seem to be interested in first and then just hardcore makes them pro at that, you want to learn to hold a sword like your father? Okay, you’re going to fucking kill at holding the sword--
- Damian told Pandora he wanted their kids to learn the piano before throwing a punch. She just laughed at him and asked what if they want to learn something else?
“Then they can learn. Later. Whatever they want. First and foremost, even just a bit, I want them to be like you.”
