After the show ended we headed back to the hotel and hung out by the water for a bit.

"Where are you going, you wanted to tan didn’t you?" I asked hailey.

"Yeah but Jessica is in the bathroom for a while now. She’s probably crying about the fact that she hugged cameron today" Hailey responded laughing.

"Haha probably. Alright get her and come back soon so I won’t be looking like a loner." I replied going back to reading my magazine under the sun. That one vine of nash where he sang the “loners” version to the song stoner popped in my mind as I said that.

Thinking about him made me wonder what was going through his mind when he saw me and jack. I mean, he had a blank expression, but something about his eyes told me differently… I’m probably just rambling. He doesn’t even know me, why would he care?

"I’m a loner, I’m a loner, I’m a loner" I hummed. “Is this sit taken?” A voice spoke, making me look up.

Oh shit.

"Uh.. No…" I stuttered.

"Was that my vine that you were humming?" He giggled.

Ugh, that giggle.

"Maybe" I cracked a smile, earning another giggle from him.

"Why are you out here by yourself?" His eyes looked worried.

"Just tanning. I like having "me" time." I said.

"Oh was I interrupting? I’m sorry I jus-"

"No!" I said a little too loud and he froze. "You weren’t interrupting anything really" I closed my magazine, all my attention towards him now.

He watched my every step, until he went back to the same laying position on the tanning bed.

"So… You and jack, are, um, friends now?" He said leaving me quite speechless, can’t really believe he remembered me. But this is the first thing he brings up?

"I wouldn’t call us- "

choose your words wisely, Kayla.

"Jack and I" I corrected myself, "friends. I mean, I just met him, I don’t know anything about him more than any other fan out there." I replied.

"So you aren’t a thing?" He questioned.

"What do yo- oh no no no. I didn’t even-" I stopped and thought about what I was gonna say before just throwing it in him. "We’re not anything. Don’t worry."

That was kinda risky, wasn’t it?

Huge smile spread on his face in that exact moment.

"So are you saying you’re single?" Nash asked.

"Yep. What about you?" I asked back.

"I’m not allowed to talk about my love life" he said in a kinda sassy way, with his hands on the back of his neck, and a big smile still upon his lips.

"Oh what love life, Hamilton. You get no action, and if you would, I would probably know about it by now" I said, proud of my fangirl stalking skills.

"First off, do not call me Hamilton" he sat on his chair turning to me, grinning. “Second, none of the fans know about how much action I get” he said with a low, raspy voice. “I doubt you know anything about me really” he went back to the same position as earlier, hands on the back of his neck and what seems to be a permanent grin on his face.

"Try me"

His eyes locked on mine.

"Fine. What shoe size am I?"

“10. Too big for the small body he has” I said mocking him, (not really, but name one boy who would like to be called small. Boys like to feel manly you feel?) and he just squinted his eyes at me but still he was smiling.

He looked at me, then continued.

"My favorite candy."

"Starburst, but you’ll eat anything eatable" I said smiling because I knew I was dang right, and he laughed.

"One thing I always have on me"

"Your phone, always without a case, which is a risky call if you ask me, but imma sit back and let you do you" I put my hands up to the sides of my body in defense and he just cracked up.

"You really are something, aren’t you?" He said after catching his breath, but still holding his stomach and gasping for air.

"Thank you" I giggled.

Oh and that pink-ish bracelet you always have on, which you need to tell me about because I really don’t know why you always have it” I said.

"So you admit you don’t know everything about me already?" He laughed.

"What can I say, you caught me…" I giggled.

"Well that’s a story for a different day…" He responded before saying "You are coming to the jacks’ room later, right?" He asked.

"Where you guys are hanging out?" I asked.

"Yeah" he replied.

"Sure yeah I’ll come, I don’t have anything better to do" I said honestly, not even trying to pull off something that I’m not like I did earlier with gilinsky. I don’t want to lie, even if it’s the smallest lie, i just wanted to be upfront with nash.

"Alright so… can I have your number?" He said hesitatingly.

I lifted my eyebrows {which are on point} in surprise.

"So I can text you what room it is, dummy" he pulled out his phone.

"Heeey" I said annoyed.

"I’m sorry" he giggled and handed me his phone.

His fingertips touched my hand softly. making a rosy pink color appear on my cheeks within a few seconds.

I took the phone from his hand and typed in my number and my name, which he didn’t know until I handed his phone back for him to read it.

"Kayla." He read.

"Wow you can read now?" I said sarcastically and clapped for him.

"Yeah, Kayla, I know how to read since I was 5 so boom" he said mocking me, and making me laugh "but Kayla fits you pretty darn well" he nodded in approval.

"Darn? You’re so southern" I let out a laugh, him joining me.

He got up, “Do you wanna go swim, Kayla?” My name rolled on his tongue perfectly, better than I thought it would’ve sounded like.

"Umm, I think I’m gonna just stay here for a bit. My friends should be back soon" I replied.

He sat back down.

"You know what, swimming does not sound fitting right now. Gonna chill here for a bit." He replied.

Is he doing this on purpose?

"Change in plans. I actually do wanna go for swim right now." I got up and took my cover up off and threw it on the chair. I went back to look at him and he got up as well.

"You’re gonna need company, am I right?" He chuckled.

"You sneaky piece of fuck" I laughed.

"I’m being nice! Do you want to be there alone?" He laughed "And be a-"

"Loner?" I said at the same time as him.

"Aw" he started singing "we finish each other s-"

"Sandwiches" i replied singing.

"Never in my life, have I met a girl who quoted that line for me" he said completely honest. Guess he has a thing for frozen?

"I’m glad to be the first" I smiled, before running into the pool and canon balling into it, him following me.

Most Nash and Justin Bieber fans know that the things their faves are doing is wrong  but watching their faves videos or listening to their songs sometimes helps them live another day (whether you believe it or not) and they cling to them . They know what they did/doing is wrong and lots of them will admit that they need to face the consequence of their acts .

Am I saying that you should love them ? No and for that we understand why you don't love our faves

Am I saying to not call out them or the fans for their behavior? No, call them out if people are excusing their fave for saying the n word or the f_g word . but please don't insult us for just liking them , we get enough of that everywhere else and sometimes even home.

I am fifteen years old. being fifteen is not an excuse for sexist, racist, or homophobic behaviour. I know next to nobody my age who would use internet fame to spread hatred, and the ones who would be prepared to are horrible people who really do mean it.
