“okay! i have a plan and it’s not to murder either of you,” mariah chuckled, having asked them if they wanted to come hang out with her for the day. she was in her garage, which was empty except for tarps on the floor. “y’know the movie princess diaries?” she mused, pulling a  tub out from the corner that was filled with balloons full of paint, “i thought we could hang these up on the wall and throw darts at them like that one scene. i’ve always wanted to.” she paused before grabbing the bottles of alcohol she had brought too, “but like.. buzzed. or drunk. or both.”

“if i can’t get my money back for this cruise, we’re getting married and you’re coming with me, okay?” mariah chuckled, typing out an email to the cruise line. the wedding was supposed to be next weekend, but obviously that wasn’t happening.
