Star-bound Discovery (Closed - Eve)
Upon hearing that the flying airships were now out of commission: but more importantly - more places seemed to be open to exploration - not wishing to engage in combat yet again as he’d seen enough of those annoyances of thieves of the forest areas to last him a lifetime: he had used the magic portal to head up despite the risk, and decided to go a more ‘stealthy’ approach. Didn’t have to risk a fight if he wasn’t seen, right? This time, it seemed that the place the magic portal had whisked him was a place where people had been and built things, unlike the natural aura of the forest: but looking at the half-shredded papers scattered like fallen snow in the eerily empty place, it was evident that they had gone in much a hurry. Distant moans and groans far off did little to ease his nerves. However: all this stuff here looked really official! If anywhere, vital clues had to be here, surely. So it was he began to pick up the torn papers and trying to piece them together with the door of the ‘official’ looking room he’d found solace in shut, placing them on the ground so as to try and piece them together in one ‘picture’ there: but the sound of footsteps made it evident he was not as alone as he would like to be.
Tense, he gripped his book a little tighter: but it may be that he wasn’t the only one with the idea to investigate, and he’d like to reserve Mana wherever possible, so he called out, but gripped his book in preparation in case the one who answered was a native who wanted to attack. “....Who’s there? Are you one of those native to the island, or not?”
