"You know what? Yeah. Get Life back for tricking you, and cheating you out of a delicious pie." This should be...fine. There's no possible way this could go wrong or blow up in their faces.

So long as Nat didn't actually lash out at anyone, she didn't see a problem with encouraging a little revenge.

He grinned, ducking his head to hide the bright smile. Oh good, Nat was laughing. He was pretty sure that was a good sign.

"They're teaching me to read...Varric thought this would be easy for me." It still took him time to read the words, some were obviously harder than others, but he was getting the hang of it.

"I don't..." Hm, maybe he did a little. Stealing beets from the kitchen for others, swiping cookies for himself...okay, maybe he schemed a little. Just a smidge. Minus the cookies, it was in the job description. "I scheme only a little...but not right now. Are you?"

If Nat was up to something...maybe he could participate in just a little mischief. That wouldn't hurt anyone, right?
