Preface: this will be a lengthy one. Tonight I got to finally see the amazingly talented @thenatalieweiss with two of my favorite humans. I have been following Natalie since I first saw a YouTube video of her singing “Quiet” 8 years ago. Discovering that song and her voice was such a huge part of why I wanted to get back into musical theater; I realized how much I loved the story telling aspect of musical theater. How someone can provoke so much relatable emotion through one song completely blew me away. Music has always been such a huge part of my life but musical theater was a love I never knew I needed until I started doing community theater. Getting to see Natalie perform tonight and getting to meet her will be a night I will never forget. She’s so talented, a great performer & completely humble for what she’s able to do & share.
