Thoughts on el losing her powers? Bc now that that I think about it I’ve not seen any discourse

I think El will absolutely get her powers back, but it’ll for sure be interesting to see how. I wonder if Will will have a big part in her getting her powers back, or if she will somehow connect to Hopper and that brings them back (love?), or if she will just get SO pissed off that they just come back and she commits murder (she is allowed <3). My guess (and if this is canon I apologize <3) that when she closed the gate, her powers left - but I don’t see why her powers would immediately come back at the beginning of s4, which is when I’m assuming the upside down will come back. Maybe they’ll do it in a way that it only opens towards the end of the season, and things will really go batshit - upside down + russians + potential time travel + jonathan being a stoner + steve and robin being whorish. I’m really excited to see where they take the season and how El finds her powers again!
