Logan. While he did bring out some good things in Rory, I think it was in a way that it was extended to being harmful. He made Rory realize that she can loosen up and have a good time. He also allowed her to meet a variety of good connections in the newspaper world. But he also showed up that he wanted to have more fun than he wanted to be successful as a student. He supported her decision to quit school even after finding out that his father was the reason that sparked it. He should have stood the same ground Lorelai did, knowing Rory had what it took to be a great journalist and knowing that she was in love with learning. Instead he allowed her to waste away all those months doing nothing but partying and working at the DAR. He allowed Rory to separate herself from her best friend, knowing how strong the bond was between her and her mother.
Rory needed support during that dark time, and Logan... Well, he just sat back and watched.

I'm not sure if my last question went through... I was in an area with close I no coverage. Anyways! Natalie, Annie, and I are officially roommates!! We got into our top choice of Abbottsford! We were wondering what all it comes with exactly. Like should we hunt for a couch or a futon or does our room come with it?

THAT IS SO COOL!!! You will love it in Abbottsford. They’ve got a great staff and their rooms are fabulous. Plus it’s small so you really get to know your community. My best friend Bridget (the one I’m heading to Europe with!) lived there freshman year and loved it!
You should definitely hunt for a futon, you’ll have more than enough room for it. Abbottsford rooms are big. You’ll have a mini kitchen, a bathroom, and two rooms. Most people set it up as a living room and a bedroom but it’s completely up to you. Each room will come with three desks, three beds, a couple of wardrobes, and a bunch of book cases. and that’s basically it. All the furniture is stackable, which is actually pretty awesome. You can really set it up however you want and there’s no reason to buy a loft or anything.

SCREW IT. STORY TIME.
I got my acceptance letter less than a week before my 18th birthday, as in (HOLY SHIT) three years ago. It was an AWFUL day at school. as in literally (and I actually mean literally) accidentally smashing my locker into my head twice. TWICE. It also involved bickering with my friends and other general not-fun-day-happenings.
but then I got home and there was a TON of mail. including a huge and marquette gold envelope. My mom got home the same time I did and was outrageously frustrated when I refused to open up Marquette's letter first. Instead I opened every other bit of mail I got. Which included a lot of community colleges going "OMG WE'RE AMAZING".
So after I got through all that I called my best friend Andrea, and put her on speaker phone.

Anyway, so with my mother and best friend listening in I opened my acceptance letter.
and then I started bawling.
and I don't mean like cry a little bit. I mean like sob. not a single drop of eyeliner or mascara left on my face sort of crying.
I think it's safe to say that I was a little over excited. like kristen bell with a sloth excited.
So here's to you class of 2017 (omg.) I hope you have a so-excited-you-sob-like-kristen-bell day!
Hahah you're too funny! Thank you! Two other girls (natcats and emilyloraine) and myself are planning to room with each other (out of excitement) and have already started making plans. If only we didn't have to wait until January!

Fun news. I'm Natalie and I'm from Nashville, I was at Marquette yesterday for a visit and I fell in love. I am definitely going there! :) Just thought I'd leave you a message that would make you smile!
