Status from TB Monstrosity
"It's 9:18am in America. We left Europe for the last time yesterday, and as I sit here with coffee at my mother's house in preparation for heading home back to New England tomorrow, my heart is full. I haven't addressed the ending of Blitzkid mainly because it's not something I wanted to do, or knew how to put into words. I still don't. All I can say is that the last 15 years have been truely amazing, some of the best times of my life and they have taught me so much and given me countless friends. The best I can do right now, is to simply say thank you to each and everyone of you who has been touched by our music. I also wanna thank everyone who has ever been part of the Blitzkid lineup in any way from Dr. Stu, to Billy Bones, Gilby Deviant, Jason Trioxin, Troy Prater, David Noonan, Paul Klein, David Calabrese, Nathan Wells, Rick O Mortis, Brent and Brandall, Gozer Der, Bryan Wilkinson, and last but not least, J.V. Bastard and Andrew "Stripes" Winter. Lastly, thanks to my partner in crime, Argyle Goolsby, who steered the ship and manned it with a tenacity and iron will that cannot and will not ever be broken. We did everything we did in this band largely because you never gave up. We wrote some amazing songs together, and will always be bonded by this band that started in a spare room at the same place I type from now. Thank you. Thank you and again, thank you all. It's been one helluva ride."

In case any of you are too happy today, remember this:
Blitzkid is on their last tour through the U.S. ever, and their very last show here is in less than a week now. After that they go on to one last European tour, and then they're gone for good. Or at least until there's a reunion tour. Sigh...
Blitzkid's Kickstarter was successfully funded
Their goal of $5,000 was met within 16 hours of the page going public, and yet the donations kept on coming. They poured in until the very last second, with the final total being $10,020, a little over 200% of their goal funded. Holy shit guys. Their documentary is going to be awesome, and all thanks to us. We did it, we helped them give one last gift to us. We're going to miss you like crazy, Blitzkid. If you ever decide to put together a reunion tour, rest easy that those shows will sell out fast, packed with every loyal, dedicated fan the venue can possibly hold. RIP Blitzkid, I hope you rise from the grave very, very, very soon.
