Working on this album had taken her the better part of the last year, writing, recording, rewriting and recording again. It was an endless cycle as both she and her team would not be satisfied with anything less than perfection. The fans always expected her new album to be better than the one before and it was a lot of pressure to live up to. She didn’t want to disappoint her fans. The studio she had worked in for her last album had been good, but she had heard this new one that opened up in New York was better. And while she wrote most of her songs herself, having some good writers at hand to help her get over writers block that she could collaborate with certainly proved to be helpful. Especially because they understood her vision. With recording songs also came shooting videos for a few of them, cover art and tons of other things. One of them being meeting with producers “So my manager said you wanted to meet up with me before the album’s release and listen in on it? Or see the album cover?”
