Summary ; my headcanons of how I think Nathaniel is with nerd!Reader

↬ Nathaniel is the one who asked Nerdy!Reader out. He found you alone sitting on a bench, simply doing you homework with music in you ears. The boy immediately saw an opportunity, gathering all his courage to go to you, sitting beside you on the bench. When you turned your music off, he pretended to help you with a simple mathematic question before letting it out with a simple "I love you."
↬ At first, the two of you were pretty akward together. Holding hands and kissing had been a big step to take, but once the two of you had been used to it, Nerdy!Reader couldn't spend a second without having physical contact. Your arms around his, hand in his and a kiss on his cheek, earning Nathaniel to blush. For both of you, it was a part of comfort.
↬ When he saw you were struggling with mathematics, your notes reaching D even with how much you were studying, how much effort you were putting into it, Nathaniel made it his mission to help you. He knew how much grades were important for you, since they were just as much important for him. That's why now, every Wednesday, the two of you hang out at the library, doing math for two hours before, eventually, letting yourself go into a make out session.
↬ When Nerdy!Reader found out about what Nathaniel's home life was, you made sure to be here for him all the time. At first, you did too much, always wanting to be there. You would spam him of texts all the time, at one point he even blocked your number. So you calmed down, instead letting him know you were there for him. Always.
↬ Nerdy!Reader who doesn't hate Castiel, but if it makes Nathaniel happy, you would pretend all the time. Being nice to him but not too much, still making snarky comments all the time. And honestly, you liked the thought of being friends but still being able to make each others remarks, not really meaning it.
↬ Nerdy!Reader who always remember every important dates, not missing an opportunity to give something to Nathaniel. 75% of his police book were gifts from you.
