I opened up my Act II playlist for Tarnished Gold for the first time in a long time and this was the first song.

This is like, the definitive song about how Nathaniel really feels about Dorian (from a sibling perspective).

This is why Nathaniel is one of my favorite ocs. He cares so deeply about the people he loves but would never show it in a normal way

Little things I love about my own characters:

Dorian loves spicy foods (or at least he did when he could eat food). He didn’t really like sweets all that much. He probably barely tolerated eating his own birthday cake.

Nathaniel, on the other hand, loves sweets. He tells Elliott that Dorian’s favorite flavor of ice cream is lavender. It’s actually Nathaniel’s favorite. You might think Nathaniel mis-remembered this (or that I made an Oopsie in writing) but the truth is Dorian told him it was his favorite because he didn’t want to disappoint him.
