Alec made sure not to sigh, you make one mistake and suddenly the Clave refuses to trust you. In his defense it totally wasn’t their fault. If the Clave had been able to leave well enough alone in the first place the cup would have been safe. “Well, I suppose I should welcome you then. I’m Alec Lightwood, acting head until my parents return.” Alec informed her, choosing to ignore the family comment for the time being. “I can show you around?” he offered, since he had nothing better to be doing.
