Home after a truly inspiring and educational day at this year's ukactive National Summit. Hearing stories about the work that our members and individuals are a doing through their love and passion for physical activity and sport was a good reminder of why it's so important to do everything we can to promote and stimulate debate about the importance of building the value of getting more people to engage with being physically active. Two of my personal highlights from the day were listening to John McAvoy's moving tale of redemption and learning about how one of the most accomplished English rugby players Lawrence Dallaglio, has built a charitable foundation to give some of the most disadvantaged children in society a chance to achieve their true potential.
