The Majority staff of the Committee on Natural Resources in the U.S. House of Representatives is now accepting applications for unpaid, and possible paid, internships. The Committee is currently seeking to fill positions for the Summer. Responsibilities include: assisting Committee staff, supporting hearings, answering phones, greeting visitors, and research. Interns will be assigned special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will be motivated, mature, detail oriented and possess the ability to multi-task. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student or recent graduate looking to gain experience working on Capitol Hill. It is preferred that interns are able to work full time, from approximately 9:00am-5:30pm.
