He is the drummer in a rock and roll band. He’s smart and talented, and it makes me crazy when people try to reduce him to comic relief. He speaks his mind, and I love that about him. Your fave (and my second fave!), Roger Taylor. Okay, I’m using your top five songs as a jumping off point...
I See the Rain, by Marmalade. I love this song. It’s in my 1960s time travel playlist. Reccing it because you listed a Jimi Hendrix song as one of your top 5; Jimi thought the song was "best cut of 1967." Jimi had good taste, because it’s a great song. Also, I didn’t realize that these were the same guys who did Reflections of My Life -- a song I’ve heard about a million times. Another good one!
O, by Satchel. I’d never heard of these guys -- I found the CD at my fave little hole in the wall record store, in a sale box for 50 cents. FIFTY CENTS. There’s some other good ones on the album, but O was an immediate favorite from the first listen.
