Today's card from my Saltwater reading cards is OYSTER - which is all about investment. The weeks, months and even years that it takes sometimes to watch your investment come to fruitation. This card can symbolise relationships that have the potential to turn into a life long partnership if both parties are willing to really invest in each other as well as often symbolising financial and business opportunities that have true potential but only if you are able to really invest your time and money into growing something that will take a while before you will see any return. The oyster is a reminder that true reward comes after hard work and effort and that we need to invest ourselves both emotionally and physically, our time and yes even money and resources, in order to see the promise of reward. This is not a card of easy pay outs or quick fixes. It can take years of dedication, hard work, lots of resources, time, commitment, honesty, vulnerability and many failures before our investments matures. This can apply to business, finances or personal relationships. All of which will only offer returns if you have done the work required both outwardly and within. Hello! I realised it’s been a while since I Introduced myself to those of you who may of just started finding my work. I am known as a Chaos Maker, Creativity Mentor, Change Initiator, Cultural Facilitator, Educator, Author, Artist and Nature reader. Through my #spiritwakesacademy I share my knowledge, culture and a very special connection to the world around me which is evident in my art, my written work and my online courses. I am also a busy mumma of 5 who has finally made a commitment to getting my drivers license this year. At 42 years of age, I think it’s time. This year I am also studying again as my vision and focus change I really see the value in continuous self improvement. I am doing an advanced diploma in Leadership and Management this year via TAFE which takes me to Sydney for one week each month.
