Just look at all of these gorgeous natural oils!! One of my favorite parts of making skincare is discovering all the incredible gifts that Nature has provided for our skin. This wide range of color is stunning! My next project is to document the color, scent, viscosity, skin feel, and absorbency of each oil. Then I start to mix them together in tiny batches to discover the synergy between specific oils. I will choose the mixes based mostly on lipids profiles and absorbency. While learning about each oil is important overall, my immediate goals are to create a hair serum and a skin elixir.
