This has been a great week for lots of reasons! My first week back to work after vacation has been great, we had dinner with Sarah & Dan tonight and got to catch up (finally!), both my parents and Jon's parents and also Bekah & Kyle are coming to visit this weekend, and after 4 years I am FINALLY getting my china cabinet!
Today I am 15 weeks, 5 days...and still feeling fabulous! :) Everyone told me that it would be like a switch, and that I would go from feeling sick all the time to feeling great practically overnight, and though I was skeptical...they were right!
Size of Baby A: Naval Orange
Weight Gain So Far: 3 lbs (!!)
Cravings: Today it was mexican food...which I satisfied just about an hour ago!
Symptoms: Just hungry, all the time. A little bit of heartburn but nothing too serious.
What I Miss: I feel like I should just take this one out for a while and you can all just assume the answer is wine. ;)
Things I am Thankful For: LOTS of things this week. Feeling extremely blessed and excited about everything at the same time!
Signs of a Bump: Finally, I think I can officially say there is one! Nothing huge, but finally people say they can see it when I say "see?! I do have something!" Pants are still buttoning but I think I can probably start counting down the days...no worries because the belly bands have been ordered!
Next Doctor Appointment: July 19
The next appointment is this coming Tuesday. I am wishing/hoping/praying that Dr. Brannon will humor me and let us have an ultrasound, even though we're not supposed to have one until the next appointment (4 more weeks away!!). I know it's not guaranteed that we would be able to tell for sure if it's a boy or a girl, but I'm hoping he at least will let us try, because we are both dying to know!
My neighbor at the lake, Cody, and his wife, Tara are expecting also (Tara is due just 2 days before me), and they just found out they are having a girl! So excited for them! And so excited that our kids will get to grow up on the lake together just like Cody, Courtney, Bek and I did. :)
