One time. Just one time. That was going to be it.
The blue haired male thought as he stared at the window from outside. His hand pressed against the cold glass as he had passed by a music shop with a lovely blue and red acoustic guitar displaced for the world. He had seen many guitars before, but this guitar as he passed on by he could not have imagined a more beautiful guitar. It was a gradient colors that were softly melded together to just a beautiful aesthetic to it. As he passed on by the shop he knew that he had to play it. He had to play it just once...He told himself never again, but he had to. There was no getting out of it. He had to.
Navy walked on into the door as he moved away from the window to the door for himself to open the door. There was a chime behind him that alerted everyone in the store that he was there. At first no one thought much of him as the guys that were tuning and playing their guitars because they were in a garage band were in the back. They had some talent from what Navy could guess from them strumming their guitars, but they were hitting the wrong chords even if it was just tuning. Yet the man did not give them any attention for he was not in any place to judge someone's talent because to him-everyone should play. Music was his life—or used to be his life. He should think.
“Can I help you young man?” The store employee asked as she came up to be helpful, but Navy just smiled a genuine polite smile and shook his head. “No I can manage. Thank you.” He responded as he walked on over to the display of the red and blue guitar. He had leaned over to pull the guitar off the display as the employee watched just to make sure that he did not break anything. It was typical for him though since he did not appear to be someone that could play guitar. Yet Navy never thought about it because it never bothered him.
The male went over to grab a seat so he could tune the guitar first. His countenance had turned serious as he listened to each of the strings and tuning the ends when it was needed. The way his fingers danced along the strings just by tuning the guitar was natural for him for he had practiced for years. Ever since he was younger he had been practicing the guitar so that even though he was in a new world he was able to play any guitar that he wanted as long as it was within reason.
Once the guitar had reached the pitch that he wanted he had let out a shaky breath. He knew that he shouldn't play. He did not deserve to play such a guitar nor did he deserve to be playing at all. His hands stretched as he prepared himself for what he was going to do. A knot in his stomach was forming as he felt more anxious now then when he first arrived on the planet.
Yet all at once he had let his nerves go like he was on stage.
Navy's fingers had expertly started to play the guitar as he began a song that he had wrote a long time ago. It was a slow intro as he moved his fingers down the neck only to build up. Softly he had started to sing the song that was in his own language so it sounded different to most of the people that were listening, but if anything people were summing it up to be Korean.
His angelic voice completed the ensemble as it matched the melody of the song, and his emotions ran through the lyrics along with the tone. The tone was what people were picking up, and even though he knew that he should not sing or preform in anyway. He did not feel like it. He felt that he was in his own room practicing the guitar or sing all those years ago. Once he was done with the song it ended differently than it usually did as he never wanted the song to end because once it did he knew that he was never going to play again.
As he played the last chord he stood up from his chair to go place the guitar back on the stand. A fake smile that could pass a genuine one pressed against his lips as he felt his heart be ripped away as his fingers slid the guitar back on it's stand.
