Has got me thinking about ‘transhumanism’ which is a way of thinking about the future that is based on the premise that the human species in its current form does not represent the end of our development but rather a comparatively early phase. - I guess links closely to the ideals of anthromophic ideas, but how can something seem human if we ourselves are ever changing.  “ Your skin becomes the surface that the light seeks if you hold your hand up in front of the projection. “

New Art West Midlands - BMAG

I ventured into BMAG on Friday to discover some of the New Art West Midland winners. It was really interesting to see the variety of artworks and mediums used through the exhibition.

As you first walk in the vision that hits your eyes (above) is somewhat striking. A multicoloured abstract landscape with sculptures in front of it.  The rest of the exhibition was just was well curated and inspiring.

I really enjoyed seeing what young artist in the area were/are doing and how that could soon be me!

It was a struggle, full of ups and downs, stress and satisfaction. And the last 5 songs were written on the very last day finished just before midnight! BUT I DID IT
