Confusing Kanji 9/infinity
増す - masu - to increase, to grow 憎む - nikumu - to hate, to detest mnemonic: the radical at the beginning of 'nikumu' is used a lot for emotion words. The radical also looks like 'chiisai' (small) which is the opposite of masu 'to increase' 悔やむ - kuyamu - to mourn, to lament; to be sorry, to regret, to repent 悩む - nayamu - to be worried, to be troubled These were my other guesses for the kanji when I saw it. Both of them start with the same radical that I said is used with emotion kanji. (They're also in the first opening song for Code Geass but that's beside the point). Mnemonic: Every time I look at the ocean I'm filled with regret (swimming anime) Mnemonic: You shouldn't shove all your worries away in a box.
I drew this for my fried's b-day :)

Spending a night time with a lot of homework
Man, I'm beat. =="
Never imagine that japanese architecture's book is so hard to read even if it already translated into English.
And another homework keep coming out....papers, take home test like statistics, teaching method....just can't say it anymore..
God, please give me a confidence to finish so many homework till semester's holiday.
