It’s 1 am and I should be in bed (although, what is sleep anyways?) but I wanted to draw my babies.
This is Nayeen and Vincent.
Nayeen is a half elf half angel (although, in my story Angels are just very beautiful beings that don’t have wings and can get sick like anyone else, but if they take care of themselves and don’t get stabbed or anything, they can live for basically an eternity). She enjoys gardening and is an overall cheerful girl that enjoys making others smile.
Vincent is a... well, I guess it’s easiest to say that he’s basically a mutt. Although, his mother was a dragon so he’s half dragon, I guess. No, his ear wasn’t chewed off or anything, that’s actually what his ear looks like. Anyways, he’s generally a very confident person who grew up as a farm hand and was raised by half elves. He enjoys writing in his free time but also enjoys learning how to fight for what he believes in. Oh, and he’s bi with a preference for men. This is important because...
Both Nayeen and Vincent originally fell in love with the same person. Vincent had known this person for basically his whole life and, even though he dreamed of having a family of his own one day, he was prepared to throw it away for this man that he loved. He was never able to admit his feelings however, as this man had already fallen in love with a beautiful maiden that shared his feelings. Nayeen had met this man when going to the market one day and ran into him, doing something with her arm causing it to dislocate. Thankfully, the man knew how to put it back in place and the rest was history.
When both Nayeen and Vincent had learned that this man was to be wed, they both didn’t know how to react. Vincent had found himself in the depths of despair and that is when Nayeen, always wanting to see people smile, came to cheer up that then stranger. When they learned that they had fallen in love with the same person they became friends that later became more than that. Obviously, there’s more to the story, but given what time it is right now, I need to go to bed. XD
I will say this, though. You will learn this story when I finally get the time to write the VN that these two characters appear in. ^_^; They were originally going to be pursue-able characters that would have ended up with no one in the end but I ended up loving them so much that I kinda got carried away...
Anyways, ONE DAY! One day I’ll write their story but at the moment I need sleep because... sleep. (Still wondering what that is...) I hope you enjoy my quickly sketched/colored mini comic strip thingy.
