i hate valentines day :( </3 but i love e-girls! & my bff nayeon!

she’s always been a fan of e-girls, their dances and versatile performances a favourite of hers. and it helps that she hates valentines. usually she’d spend it with a boy –– any boy really –– but this year she finds solace alone in front of her screen the week before valentines, going through videos of her faves.

it comes as a spur of a moment when she picks up on their dance moves and integrates them into a cheer. soon enough sana finds herself choreographing a whole routine.

it suits her, really; the little bursts of cuteness and cheers in the song. she records the video two days earlier, gets her hair and outfit ready along with the pom-poms. 

she calls up her bff, nayeon of course, and tells her about it and somehow drags her into the vlog. perfect.

START ! 

“hi!” she smiles. “i’m back with another video. i’m sure you all missed me –– or if you didn’t then too bad because i’m back!” she laughs. “and with my bff, nayeon!” she introduces her best friend and smiles. “show us a lot of love! because we’re cute and uh.... basically that’s it.”

and so she begins to dance, legs hopping a little as she swings her arms around routinely. “follow me!” she finds herself cheering, “follow me baby!” 

nayeon is smiling as well, jumping up and down in excitement as the two of them follow the rhythm of the song.

a few turns, a few more kicks and tadah ! sana’s done it.

“and that was it!” she smiles, tucking her hair behind her ear. “nayeon, how was it?”

“we did great!”

sana giggles and nods her head, “i’m sure we did! anyway, thanks for watching!”

“i’ve never seen someone look that bad,” sana giggles, looping an arm into her bff’s. she’s not a particularly nice person but well, nayeon isn’t too far from being a not-so-nice person as well. it works out perfectly! “i’m sure that i’ll get the lead role though. the director would be blind to pick that glasses framed baby over me,” she shrugs, tugging nayeon along the pathway.

but it’s then when the words “KARAOKE” catch her attention and sana has to do a double take, halting herself halfway. “nayeon!” she grins, pulling at her friend. “let’s go!” she points at the neon sign and then at the pricing placed outside the store: “$10/hour”.  

she doesn’t leave nayeon with much of a choice either way, dragging her into the store and already pulling out her wallet. “one hour for now please!”
