Enough of a semblance of a backstory for Nazmazh, the character is written up that I feel ready to move on.
In writing it, I realized that a lot of it is really the story of the whole party that he's a part of, so I'll probably edit things around between all of them in the future - But also go back and edit Cassidy's story that I have written to incorporate what I figured out for/with Naz.
Actually, I probably will try to do that with each character I establish as being part of the same group (ie: any of the distinct adventuring parties/companies/regional characters I've already got built up a little bit in my mind).
It's tricky trying to write any sort of overall, concrete narrative when my brain keeps going "You know who this character would pair great with!?" whenever I come up with someone new.
On the one hand, yeah, it's great that the ideas keep flowing and building off each other.
On the other hand, it means I'm too worried to put much out there into the world, in case some time down the line, I decide that this other character should have been a part of this story all along.
Guess that comes with the territory of writing characters first, then trying to place them, rather than writing a story and making a character to fit that hole.
At any rate, don't want to get hung up on this stuff for too long - That's how I've stalled out on several previous creative bursts - Frustration and not wanting to move on before finishing something, but then being unable to finish it, so just taking a long break before coming back to a fresh topic later anyway.
So, onto the next character!
