The NBA has fined Paul Pierce $15,000 for his hit on George Hill on Monday night. The fine is due to what they describe as “making excessive and unnecessary contact. Clearly this was an act of desperation as the Nets were embarrased, losing to the Pacers 103-86.
EDDIE HOUSE FINED $25,000 FOR "BIG BALLS" DANCE
It's looks like players can't even celebrate a big shot anymore.
On Monday, NBA Executive Vice President Stu Jackson announced that Miami Heat guard Eddie House will be penalized $25,000 for the "obscene" Big Balls Dance he did to celebrate his big shot in Sunday's Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game with 22 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
House came through in a clutch by hitting a 3-pointer which sealed the game, after an assist from LeBron James.
I thought the dance was more funny than obscene. It's not as if House hits big shots often. Damn, can he live?
The Heat took the victory over the Thunder in an 108-103 win.
