I'm done with 2K. I will rather eat actual shit than ever preorder any game in the NBA2K franchise again. Or any other game for that matter, but particularly NBA2K. This shit is offensively bad. Like HOF bad. And by preordering you will only contribute for it to get worse.
So you buy animations/clothes/tattoos for your character. You make a second character, you have to rebuy everything again. You make a third character, you have to rebuy everything again. You are essentially locked into whichever build you got first for this reason, OR, spend ungodly sums of money to buy pretend shit in this crap game.
And guess what? Last 2K I played before this was 2K13. You bought a shooting sleeve for your myplayer which had an attribute boost, like +2 middies, you make a new myplayer, you could equip it right away.
Also, playing in mycareer nationally televised games gave you double VC. playing against rival teams gave you double VC. playing against rival position player, like you are a PG and you go up against John Wall, gave you double VC. You also had social media challenges, like get a double double for this game and you get like, for real, 200VC for that challenge alone. You could end up a game with like 5K VC easy. Nowadays, you only get 1K max per game. Plus endorsements every so many games. The VC rates are extremely stingy. So, Ronnie, fuck you and your VC. Keep all of your precious VC, and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.
