Top 5 moments from Wednesday Night in the NBA
Hello all,
It’s been a super long time since I’ve posted anything and to all zero of my followers, I’m super sorry about that and I cannot believe I let you all down.
What I’d like to do with this blog for the upcoming months is share my thoughts on the NBA regular season as it has officially kicked off. I’d like to maybe write about the top moments from the night before and maybe did a winner/loser list. I haven’t quite decided what I want this to be, I just want to to use this blog as a tool to start writing more and hopefully being able to post on here every day.
So, without further ado, here are my top five moments/performances from Wednesday night:
#1 Anthony Davis against the Nuggets
The Pelicans shut Davis down last season on March 20th due to a left knee injury and a torn left labrum. Davis had admitted that he’s played with shoulder pain since his rookie year and it’s clear that he’s had his fair share of injuries since he’s been in the league.
Last night AD posted 50 points, 16 rebounds, 7 steals, 5 assists and 5 steals. He’s the very first player to record such a stat line. Now if only his teammates would have contributed a tiny bit more maybe they could have won.
#2 James Harden against the Lakers
Harden had quite the game last night and his passing was the biggest surprise of all. James had 34 points, 17 assists and 8 boards, with most of his assists coming in the first half. His Rockets couldn’t get the win though because the Pacific Division first place Lakers were too much and they were actually able to play a ball game where they were allowed to play with their own ball and not have to borrow one from Mr. Kobe Bean Bryant.
#3 Myles Turner against the Mavericks
Turner posted 30 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks Wednesday. He was 13 of 19 on field goals and he seems to get better in every game he plays.
#4 Russell Westbrook’s reaction to his heckler
I just love Russy’s face so much. He could have done something about it but he just laughed because obviously the fan is crazy and a complete Allen Iverson homer and he won’t give any new point guards that enter the league a chance to even prove themselves of his worthiness. Stay you, crazed Sixers fan, stay you.
#5 Dion Waiters against the Magic (!!!)
OK, so obviously Waiters performance wasn’t one of the top five on Wednesday, but Waiters is one of the most polarizing players and I’m going to check in on him from time to time and post his stat line. Honestly, I might throw him in here every time just because I can.
Team high 33 minutes, 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in a win.
Fanduel Lineup
So in this space I’m going to post my FanDuel lineup from the night before and let you guys know how I did. I usually just play 50/50 and I’ll keep a running tally of my wins and losses at the end of the post.

PG: D. Russell, 24.7 points
SG: West Matthews, 28.5 points
SG: Demar DeRozan, 43.3 points
SF: Jae Crowder, 34 points
SF: M. Morris, 32.3 points
PF: Kanter, 35.4 points
PF: Anthony Davis, 95.7 points
C: Myles Turner, 60.7 points
Obviously AD was the best pick up, but Kanter was definitely my underdog of the night.
