NBA prices stay flat amid softer quarterly backdrop
NBA has traded steadily in the latest week, with prices holding unchanged at Rs 72.00/kg. The absence of weekly movement has kept near-term conditions calm for domestic participants. Indian NBA prices have also remained flat on a fortnight comparison, underlining the lack of short-term volatility. Despite the quiet week, the month view shows prices lower by Rs 2.00/kg from Rs 74.00/kg, indicating mild softening through December. The broader trend is more clearly negative. Compared with three months ago, prices are down Rs 10.00/kg from Rs 82.00/kg, and the six- month comparison mirrors this Rs 10.00/kg decline. Year-on-year prices are also lower by Rs 8.50/kg from Rs 80.50/kg, keeping the longer-term tone subdued. Over the past month, prices have fluctuated within a narrow corridor between Rs 74.00/kg and Rs 72.00/kg. The latest close sits near the lower end of this range, but without the sharper moves associated with more volatile phases. Indian NBA prices are therefore offering stable short-term reference points, while NBA prices in India continue to reflect softness on a quarterly and annual basis.
