On September 25, 2021 polyamide 6 (M28RC)prices moved higher in the Delhi polymer market. The price rise was on account of strong regional demand trends. Today prices in Delhi went up from Rs.224/Kg to Rs.226/Kg, an increase of Rs.2/Kg.
On September 25, 2021, imported acrylic prices were quoted lower in the domestic market of Delhi. Low demand for the material supported the price fall. The current price is Rs.200/Kg, a cut of Rs.3/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.203/Kg.
Prices for POM (F30 03) fell today in the domestic market of Delhi. Low demand for the material supported the price fall. The current price is Rs.194/Kg, a cut of Re.1/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.195/Kg.
Petrochem sources in Delhi have reported a huge rise in MEK prices. It is confirmed that prices in the imported market have increased due to tight product availability. Prices are expected to move further higher in the coming days. On September 27, 2021, MEK prices Delhi (Imported repack) were at Rs.188/Kg, an increase of Rs.14/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.174/Kg.
On September 27, 2021, the Mumbai market witnessed a significant rise in DOP prices. Trading sources reported that DOP has surged due to tight supply coupled and well-built demand in the imported market. The current price of DOP in Mumbai (imported intact) is Rs.170/Kg, an increase of Rs.10/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.160/Kg.
Tight supply coupled with high demand has raised acetic acid prices in the Kandla market. With prices mostly dependent on demand, Petrochem sources have confirmed that acetic acid prices would move further higher in the days ahead. On September 27, 2021, prices for imported tanker load went up from Rs.124/Kg to Rs.126/Kg, an increase of Rs.2/Kg.
SM prices were assessed lower in the Mumbai market. A fluctuation in prices has been noticed in the domestic market. According to Petrochem sources, a weak regional demand led to the price fall. On September 27, 2021, SM prices in Mumbai for imported repack went down from Rs.116/Kg to Rs.114/Kg, a cut of Rs.2/Kg.
Petrochem sources in Mumbai have reported a huge rise in PAN prices. It is confirmed that prices in the imported market have increased due to tight product availability. Prices are expected to move further higher in the coming days. On September 27, 2021, PAN prices in Mumbai (domestic intact) were at Rs.105/Kg, an increase of Rs.5/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.100/Kg.
A fall in demand has lowered octanol prices at Hazira. According to sources, with effect from September 27, 2021, octanol prices at Hazira are down by Rs.3/Kg basic. The new basic price is Rs.175/Kg.
Acetone prices registered a fall in the imported market of Kandla. Weak regional demand coupled with excess supply led to the price fall. Petrochem sources confirmed that acetone would, however, maintain a balance trend within the next few days. On September 27, 2021, acetone prices at Kandla (imported tanker load) went down from Rs.74/Kg to Rs.71/Kg, a cut of Rs.3/Kg.
Benzene prices have improved at Hazira. According to sources, with effect from September 27, 2021, benzene prices at Hazira are up by Rs.2/Kg basic. The new basic price is Rs.82/Kg.
