Ok one more ask and it’s a long one! Not even really a question but god what a season for Leatin first of all I cannot stress enough how happy I am about this.
Secondly I want to talk about the acting for a sec- thought erana/Shannon/Mia and Sophia/Sarah especially were phenomenal but Jenna clause and even more so reign Edwards really stood out to me as putting together next-level performances. Just some of the best stuff I’ve seen in a while. Anyway I’m still pretty pissed about some of these terrible writing choices but I’m trying to focus on the good for now!
I'm so happy and so disgustingly optimistic about Leatin's chances in a possible s3 that it's not even funny. It's gonna be so disappointing if my hopes are this high and we don't get canon Leatin.
Omg the acting!! ESPECIALLY Reign when Rachel yells at Leah about how Nora's gone and it's her fault. Had me tearing up, and I am not a crier lol. All the girls were fantastic, and Sarah and Sophia really delivered on Leatin for us. Idk can I say best performance is a four way tie between Reign, Sarah, Sophia, and Jenna? Give them all Emmys.
I have my complaints, as always, and a lot of it has to do with the writing. I've talked a bit about my issues with s2 over the last couple days in other asks, but I'm allowing the things I liked to stick out. For now. When I get to writing fics based in/set after s2, I'll fix what I want to fix lol.
