“one of my older students has an audition in new york city this weekend and i just know he’s going to absolutely kill it. i feel like a proud mom.”

“ why i quit the play? that’s simple, i’ve lost my interest in acting. things happen, you know?  people change, and i’m no longer the dorky theater kid with the big dreams that i was in high school,” beck huffs, folding his arms defensively across his chest. “ besides, i have a real job to focus on.”

“ blocking your view? your view from what, exactly?” ellis questions, lips stretching into a smirk as they glance over their shoulder. “ mhm, what if... what if i told you that i am the view?”

Rosie had a long day, and was exhausted. She had considered spending the rest of her evening at home, but decided against it. Instead, she found herself at the beach with some Chinese takeout  and a blanket wrapped around her shoulders. She heard approaching footsteps and looked over her shoulder. “I’m willing to share anything except the crab rangoon.”

“ basically, what this guy told me is that i write songs like i’m at a third grade reading level. what kind of feedback is that?” riley huffs, bottom lip jutting out into a slight pout. “ i know i shouldn’t take it personally, but like, how can i not?”

“today i saw a guy flirting with another girl while his girlfriend was around the store looking for clothes. total yikes, people are a mess, love and loyalty are truly dead. i’m tired of this. anyways, how was your day? see anything as interesting?”
