– she shows up to your games in her UConn gear but it’s always your number drawn on her cheek with glitter gel. – doesn’t get why everyone cheers when you pitch strikes, but she’s the loudest anyway. – has a saved note in her phone with basic softball terms. – literally googled “what does ERA mean in softball” mid-game and felt proud when she used it correctly.
– “you did so good, babe!” – “i gave up two runs.” – “okay like… you looked really hot doing it???”
– she’s a hooper through and through, so she can’t resist trying to give you tips. – “you should like… square up more with your base or whatever.” – “ice… go back to your lane please 😭”
– but lowkey she’s the softest ever when it comes to you – buys you new cleats “just cause i saw they were purple, like your glove.” – insists on massaging your shoulder after every game – says your pitch wind-up is “poetic” even if she doesn’t know what a changeup is
– when people call you a legend, she just smirks and goes – “yeah, that’s my girl.” – she’s clueless, but she’s loyal. – your #1 fan. always.
