2 years ago, my favorite St Patrick's Day of all time . The very first time I got to hold out strong little irish lass at 13 days old. She had ever wire possible connected to her , and a drain going from her intestines poking it the side of her body from her first surgery at a week old. I wasn't supposed to hold her yet because she was still so sick and unstable but they had to change her bed anyway so they decided to let me . We were told after he fact that our long hours of kangaroo care is the only reasoning they can think of how she survived everything .
