You stood at the bottom of the stairs, your bag slung over your shoulder after Hetty had just debriefed you in the mission you would be embarking on without contact from your team. Your first solo mission, all your team knew was that you were going to be gone for a while. More importantly, you're looking up at the man you had spent the last three years fighting for. He was about to follow the team into the ops centre

“Eric?” you call out, he does his awkward little shuffle back to the top of the stair and smiles down at you

“Yeah Y/N?” he asks

“I’m not giving up on us okay?” you state and he nods, a promise in his smile that you can see and that’s what you take with you as you send a smile and give a small wave to him before walking out of the building.

How he worshiped you mind, body and soul, how he brought you anything your heart desired and how whenever you needed him he would try everything to be there the moment you needed him. At first you had thought it was just the beginning of the relationship, being in that love haze but even now a whole eighteen months later and he still treated you exactly the same way. Maybe even showed his love and appreciation more so. The one thing that you absolutely adored most out of everything thought, was the snuggles. How at the end of a hard shift, you got to come home and curl up in his arms and relax. He was home, and you never wanted to leave.

Getting them way too many gifts for their birthday. - Sam Hanna x reader

You walk into the living room, and your jaw drops seeing all the presents and decorations that are lining every possible surface in your tiny apartment. You can only think of one person who would do this, as there was only one other person who had a key to your apartment.

“Sam?” you call out to the seemingly deserted apartment. He sheepishly makes his way through the Y/F/C/B’s towards you and you raise an eyebrow

“What is all this?” you ask motioning to everything around you.

“I wanted to spoil my Queen” he whispers as he pulls you into his arms, a quick kiss placed on your lips before he continues “Happy Birthday Y/N”.

“You can’t be serious Sam, this is way too many gifts” you say and he puts his hands up and says

“No take backs” and you sigh, relenting as you make your way further into the room. Sometimes it was hard to be upset with the man that you loved so much, and apparently even though every bone in your body was screaming at you not to accept everything that he had gotten for you he had a way of getting you to accept.

“Thank you baby” you say and he beams

“You’re welcome my Queen” he says handing you the first gift.

“Can I…may I hug you?” They ask softly, when you’re done ranting about an exhausting day you had. (🥺❤️‍🩹) - Marty Deeks x reader

You hobbled into the waiting room of the restaurant, dressed in a beautiful lilac knee length dress that just made it acceptable for the scale of the place that your boyfriend of three months had picked for the date. However, you were ranting, your heel had broken on the way up the stairs, your favourite pair and after an already exhausting day at work where nothing had seemed to go your way.

“Y/N?” you hear your boyfriend’s voice call and you turn towards him, a small smile crossing your features, seeing him in his suit made you swoon, he looked so handsome. You and Marty had been dating for three months, your feelings for him however had been apparent from first meeting when you had started working out at the same gym, you’d become fast friends and so the transition between friends to lovers had been both easy and hard for you to both deal with.

“Hi Marty” you breath out as you hobble towards him and he immediately places a hand on your shoulder

“Can I… May I hug you?” he asks, and you can’t help but smile wider at his nervousness, knowing that he was uncertain as to how you would react given your mood.

“Of course you can Marty” you say and he smiles as he wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you close, placing a kiss on your forehead.

“What happened my sweet girl?” he asks and you look up into his deep blue eyes

“A lot of stuff at work that I really wish to forget about right now, and my heel broke as I was making my way up the stairs” you whine, a pout on his lips

“Oh sweet girl. We still have five minutes until our reservation is ready, I can rush down to my car and grab the flats that you left in there after our last date?” he suggests and you raise an eyebrow

“Are you sure? I don’t want to be a bother?”

“Your not a bother my sweet girl. Besides what type of boyfriend would I be if I made you walk around in a broken heel for the rest of the evening. I’ll be back soon” he says, placing a kiss on your cheek before quickly rushing out the door and out to his car.

The Man of the Hour

You took a deep breath, stealing yourself for your first day back at work since the birth of your little girl Iyla Rose Getz. You had been lucky and grateful that Hetty had given you two weeks paternity leave to help your wife and newborn whilst you settled into a routine. Walking into the lobby you smile as you see your teammates. Kensi looks up at you and beams jumping up from her seat and racing around her desk to throw her arms around you

“There he is, the man of the hour. The proud new papa. How is she? How is little Iyla?” she asks as the other members of your team welcome you back into the squad room.

“She’s the sweetest thing. We are so blessed. I don’t even mind the sleepless nights cause she’s just do darn cute” you gush about your daughter and the others smile. A ding from your phone alerts you to a message and you see a video message from your wife waiting for you to view it. Its a video of your wife and little baby snuggled up in her arms, camera on selfie mode as she says

“We miss you daddy, be safe. We love you” before the camera zooms in on your daughters chubby little cheeks. You beam as the video freezes on the screen and you turn it around to show the others who all coo at the little girl. And you can’t help but beam with pride.

‘I love you too sweetheart, and our little Iyla. See you soon’ you text back before going through your photos of the last week since you had last seen your co-workers.

Tracing the other’s lips with their finger – Marty Deeks x reader

The two of you lay next to each other, wrapped in each others embrace. It was the first time in more than six weeks that the two of you had been able to get this close to one another due to the LAPD pulling Marty back to the police department for a case that was deemed to be a higher priority than the ones that had come through the NCIS office. You had also spent the last two and a half weeks in isolation due to your personal relationship to Marty and his involvement in the case that he was working which meant that you team had been down two of it’s members. Now though, you were soaking up each and every single second of time spent in his arms. And it seemed Marty was doing the same thing with you. He reached out after placing a gentle kiss on your lips and gently traced your lips with his fingers and you smiled as his warm fingers kept up the movement against your lips.

“I love you Y/N” he whispers and you smile

“I love you too Marty” you reply, pulling him closer to your body.

You’re walking through the doors into the special projects office for the first time in over eight months, being requested for an undercover job by SecNav had meant that you had had to leave without saying goodbye to any of your team mates, let alone your best friend Operational Psycologist Nate Getz. Hetty had been the only one privy to the knowledge of you leaving and now that your undercover operation had been completed you were finally back in LA and back to work. It felt nice being back in the office. You can hear the bickering coming from your team mates before your even through the end of the corridor and you can’t help the wide grin from spreading across your cheeks as you continue to move. Pausing at the dividers to the room you smile over at Hetty who gives you a slight head and smile before she returns to her work. You look at the others and smile, Callen, Sam, Kensi, Deeks and Nate are all sitting behind their desks just like they had been the last time they had been when you had seen them. You can hear a shuffle of feet rushing down the stairs and you whip around and turn to see Eric and Nell and smile at them

“Y/N? Is that you?” Eric asks as he pauses at the bottom of the stairs, whilst Nell doesn’t pause, she rushes over to you and runs straight into your arms and you hold her close

“It’s really me. Hi guys” you say giving Nell a small reassuring squeeze before you turn to the others, smiling at each of them in turn before your eyes land on the one person you had missed the most.

“It’s so good to see you again Y/N” Sam says as he makes his way over to you and pats you on the head. You smile at the man

“It’s good to be back, I’ve missed the LA sun” you say and he chuckles

“Oh God it must’ve been bad if you missed the LA sun, given you were complaining about it just days before you left” he teases and you chuckle. The others make their way over to you, each giving you a hug. All except Nate who in the greetings and catch up had managed to escape through the crowd and out the side of the building. You excuse yourself from the others wanting to follow him and see how he’s doing.

You find Nate sitting in front of the water fountain at the back of the building and you make your way over to him, sitting next to him.

“I missed you Nate” you whisper after what feels like a chocking silence between the two of you.

“I missed you too Y/N, so much. There wasn’t a day that went by where I wasn’t worried about you and your safety. Worried about if the love of my life was going to make it back to us. You have no idea how many times I would go to Hetty and beg her for an ounce of information she had on your case just so that I would know if you were safe and sound. I needed to know that you were safe” he says. As each word escapes your best friends mouth your more shocked by what he has said because he had said the L word, the one word that you had always been too terrified to say to the man that you had been in love with for the last four years.

“You love me?” you whisper looking down at your hands before you feel Nate gently cupping your face in his hands as he tilts your face to look at his own

“Of course I do Y/N, I love you more than life itself. You are my everything, my whole existance and I missed you dearly when you were gone” he tells you. You can see the truth hidden in his eyes and you smile, leaning forward you whisper

“I love you too Nate, I’ve been in love with you for years I was just too scared that it would ruin our friendship” you say and he shakes his head

“It doesn’t have to Y/N, it can make our friendship, our love better” he says and you smile before leaning forward and capturing his lips in the first of many kisses.

"This is going to hurt." - Marty Deeks x reader and their little girl hurting themselves

You had heard the screams coming from the other end of the house and your heart broke with every passing second. You dropped the laundry basket and raced towards where your little girl was, and when you reach the backyard you see your husband already back there comforting here. You could see the tears streaming down her cheeks as you heard your husband reassuring your daughter of three years of age.

“Lily, it’s okay, daddy’s got you. You’ve showed me where it hurts and I can see the big graze on your knee and on your hand. Daddy’s going to have to clean it out though, so we’re going to have to go inside and get some special stuff and then you can chose the plaster you want okay?” Marty’s soft reassuring voice says and you see your little girls lower lip tremble as she nods her head, she looks over his shoulder, seeing you for the first time and a wave of fresh tears streams down her cheeks as she wails

“Mummy, I hurt myself really bad” she says holding out her hand and you gasp, seeing how badly grazed her palm was, you crouch down next to your husband and place a kiss on her forehead as you say

“You’ve been such a brave girl, Lily bean. Daddy’s going to take you into the bathroom okay? I’ll get the stuff to clean it out and make sure you can chose your plasters okay?” you say, reiterating to your little girl everything that your husband had said to her, to reassure her and to back him up.

“Okay mummy” she says as she holds her arms out for Marty to pick her up.

When the three of you get to the bathroom, you rifle through the first aid bag for the saline solution to clear out all the dirt and ensure that the wounds wouldn’t get infected, as well as a couple of gauze for the graze and the big character bandages that you had on hand. Marty places Lily on the bench top and places a kiss on her forehead before he whispers

“This is going to hurt okay Lily bean?” and she nods, reaching out for your hand as he begins to clean the wounds. She cries and screams at the pain and when the grazes are all cleaned up and she’s chosen the bandages she wants to cover her grazes, the three of you share a big hug, Lily wrapped tightly in your arms whilst Marty has the two of you wrapped in his own. He presses a kiss to Lily’s forehead before he presses one to yours and whispers

“I love you both, my two special girls” and you smile, looking up into his light blue eyes

“We love you too, don’t we Lily bean?” you ask looking down into those same light blue eyes and she giggles before placing a sloppy kiss on Marty’s cheek

“Love you Daddy” she says before giggling.
