Maybe I'll get killed for this 💀 but I didn't really like the Gibbs/Abby relationship. I didnt have anything against it per say but I didn't like how Gibbs acted as if she couldn't do any wrong. For example, when she was staying with McGee when that stalker was after her and she left and got McGee in trouble and despite her knowing she shouldn't etc etc Gibbs still blamed McGee for it and "punished" him for not protecting Abby and it's like ??? She's a grown woman not a child, she knew better

While I liked the Gibbs/Abby father/daughter relationship until like, season 12, I always hated too how it seemed like, to Gibbs, Abby could do no wrong. And sometimes I feel like that's where some of her childishness comes from because she could get away with anything when it came to him.

IMO the Gibbs/Ziva father/daughter relationship was better than Gibbs/Abby because while Gibbs loved Ziva and she knew it, he still held her accountable for her actions while also being that protective father figure she needed (until Family First cause well, WTF was that.)

Anyways. Yes I agree with your assessment on the Gibbs/Abby relationship

The way i cackled when i got this notification ahaha. We can go down together because i 100% agree. The ship has always felt so forced to me omg. Honestly low-key still not over when Torres cancelled Ellie’s date because that’s fucked up. I prefer slibbs to ellick lmao, at least slibbs have some chemistry. I don’t see them at all, why can’t they just be friends?! Also Ellie and the painter girl that i can’t remember the name of had more chemistry!! Ellie Bishop deserves a girlfriend so much omg.

I feel like they fell off the wagon with Jack's character, like I like her but don't feel much for her because of the way the writers handled her. Like eventually they kind of shoved her off to the side/background and only had her pop in a few times. And sometimes it felt like they only had her there as a storyline for Gibbs in terms of a love interest (even though I know that's not the case)

Oooh okay...I’ve sat here for a few minutes now trying to figure out where i’m scoring this ahah. i get where you’re coming from, hence only disagree. Like i agree about them using her for Gibbs (definitely feeds into my whole not being a fan of slibbs thing, and about a different issue i have with ships in all shows and how i never tend to ship canon ships but that’s a whole other rant). As we know, she’s my favourite so like i feel a lot! She gets a good amount of screen time compared to other characters. We do still get background storylines - E.g. Faith. Yes, less now but I think that’s because she became settled into the show. You know? like there’s loads of Jack content in season 15 but they were still introducing her character, so they needed that? Obviously, i’d always want more screen time but i think she gets a decent amount.

Omg i’m about to be killed by the ncis fandom. I feel like i’m risking my life by agreeing - but omg yes! I just don’t get it?? why is everyone so in love with him? He has good moments, I won’t argue with that, but as a whole...dude. He kinda sucks. The stoic thing’s cool i guess but idk. I prefer him more in season 1 & 2 when his whole personality wasn’t based off the fact his daughter and wife were killed.

My favorite team is the current one. They seem more genuine in friendship to me. I liked McGee/Tony/Ziva but I did not approve of Tony's behavior towards McGee a lot of times and yes he was only joking but some jokes were too far for even someone you're friends with.

I think the Tony/Ziva/McGee team and the Nick/Ellie/McGee teams are both great and neither is better than the other. My least favorite team was Tony/Kate/McGee.

Edited to add: I always felt like yeah maybe Tony went too far sometimes but they were still friends at the end of the day. Also the brother/sister dynamic between Ziva and McGee was always so cute. She teased him but he knew she would be there for him.
