Genre: Papa!Gibbs, Papa!Fornell (this is the best, no joke) lots family feels

Rating: PG/PG-13ish

I love love love this story. Tim needs help and he can't go to Gibbs, so instead he goes to Fornell. From there, the author describes in wonderful detail the work that Tim, Fornell and Fornell's team do, while simultaneously keeping Gibbs and NCIS out of the loop until needed. It has a deep, well thought-out plot and so many family feels! We've got papa!Fornell, papa!Gibbs, brotherly!Tony, brotherly!FBI team, etc. The fandom really needs more papa!Fornell and papa!Gibbs subtly fighting over Tim. It's the best part of this story.

My Father's Keeper by Emerald

Genre: General

Rating: PG-13 

So Papa!Gibbs is a favorite of mine in the NCIS fandom, and Timothy Mcgee is my favorite character. We don't get as much information about McGee so I love Timothy centric fics :] This is a wonderful piece of work that touches upon Gibbs's tendency to focus a lot on Tony and "forget" about Tim, Tim's relationship with his sister and his parents that we have just recently started to learn about, and some great character development. I especially like how Gibbs gets a full monologue of beautiful emotions in this :] You'll see what I mean. This is a must read if you're in the fandom, seriously.
