         ella sat patiently on the bench, twidling a piece of her dress between her fingers. madame and her step-sisters were taking longer than usual in the dress shop and ella was beginning to grow restless. oh, how she WISHED her friends were here to keep her entertained and her mind occupied. instead, her eyes wandered through the crowd of people that passed before her. several people stared at the young girl in her tattered clothing and her messy hands, but ella didn’t mind. she had grown used to the staring. soon enough, her eyes caught a swirl of green fabric, soon fixating on the beautiful gown the woman was wearing. lifting herself from the bench, she carefully approached the woman and nodded to her politely. ❝ i’m terribly sorry to bother you, miss-------- but i must say your dress is beautiful. ❞
