Yesterday was Boo at the Zoo and Fall is the absolute best time to visit the zoo in NC! We’ve always gone in the Spring and Summer but the animals are hiding from the heat! Yesterday was an awesome day to see the animals and we also got to see them receive pumpkins as a special treat! I wish I had gotten video of the baby chimpanzee that came right up to the glass to Phoenix! 😍 It was one of those days where you actually forget how dangerous many of the animals are because you just want to get in the enclosures with them and play with them! Oh, and we got candy too!
